Some of you are probably asking "what happened to the old one you hand-made and hosted yourself?"
I didn't like it. So, I trashed it. It probably still exists somewhere as a SQL dump, but -to be completely honest-, it was simply too dangerous to have around. I would often blog about controversial issues, call certain software companies colorful names, etc.
One thing I'm learning about the Internet as I get older is that there's a reason everyone runs around anonymous. You say something as a joke, people get all
This poses problems when you're using your real name. Yes, the court will throw these cases out. And yes, this has never happened to me. But why go through all the trouble in the first place? So, this blog is the new and improved
Please try to enjoy.

Welcome back, sanitized Paul! I too obscured my true identity until a social media consultant kept beating me over the head on the importance of real names and branding.
It is easier getting an interview not having to identify myself as Mr. UNZ. It has it's downsides though.
In the end, I said screw it. I have enough to deal with without letting the possiblility of a nuisance lawsuit bother me. Besides, if someone really wants to find out who you are, they will.
Have fun and good luck!
Larry
Haha, thanks. Yeah, I could see some insane anti-tobacco zealots reading "Helping people find safer ways of getting nicotine so they don't die" and turning it into "ADVERTISING TABACCY TO CHILLREN!!!!"
Because SO MANY KIDS, of course, use snus. Nevermind the fact that if I give a snus to anyone *over* 18 who doesn't smoke, they usually get nauseous or throw up if they don't spit it out in about five minutes.
Or what about flavored tobacco? I do know a lot of kids who buy flavored blunts, or flavored blunt wrappers. Protip: **They're not smoking tobacco in them**.
But, so it goes!
